Ammonium Dihydrogenphosphate

chemical formula : NH4H2PO4
crystal class : tetragonal skalenoedric
growing method : slowly cooling of the aquaeous solution
growing time : app. 7 days
crystal size : up to 10 centimeters

Here the ADP contains an extreme high amount of chromium which results in an almost emerald like color (which is no wonder as chromium is the coloring agent in emerald, too !).
Solutions with such a high chromium content tend to produce extreme needle shaped crystals. If that happens its almost impossible to get such a solution back to "normal".
This specimen is currently exhibited at the mineral museum in Pforzheim.
